A very happy month of May to all you Boom Bang a Bloggers. And we all know what May brings.

Enough about the FA Cup Final. It is less than two weeks until the first semi-final of this year's Eurovision takes place and that means the frist rehearsals are even nearer. How lucky for this year's entrants, then, that they've finished building the stage inside the Malmo Arena.

It will be a week or so before the bona fide acts sing for the first time on the rather geometric-looking stage which seems a blend of the recent Baku and Oslo structures judging from the angle the above photo was taken. However, in a genius move, Swedish telly has got students from the nearby Heleneholm Gymnasium to study the rehearsal videos from all 39 videos until they have the performances off-pat. The kids will then perform what they've learned on the stage so that the production team can have the basic camera angles sorted by the time the first delegation pops in for a practice.

A video has been released of some of the students in action and the performance that looks undeniably like the one from Malta's looks rather promising. See for yourself by scrolling to the wee video at the bottom of this ESC Today report. It's almost here, gang. Excited?
