Eurovision 2013: Lys insists she won't miss for dah Swiss wit dis
Over in Switzerland, they're doing the same thing they've done for the past two years. About three million and three songs are up on the internet for people to vote on and the ones that get the most nods go forward to the national final in December. And speaking of three million and three, the very first Eurovision winner, Lys Assia, is back for the second successive year in her homeland shakedown with the urban (for want of a better description) All In Your Head.
Looking like a cross between the very special episode of Diff'rent Strokes were Nancy Reagan told Arnold how naughty drugs are and one of those community rapping projects you probably get on Britain's Got Talent, Lys' whimsical way of singing is shoehorned between sections of rather tame rap in a creation which makes Love City Groove sound like a whole packet of Eminems.
I think even Eurovision may be too cred for this. Don't hold your breath on this going to Malmo.
