Eurovision 2012: The final line-up for Saturday night
I'm still miffed that Joan Franka never got through (so much better than Bosnia & Herzegovina, so much better than Turkey, so much better than Lithuania.... Grr!).
Anyway, the 10 finalists from this evening have drawn their balls from the bag and this is how the running order for Saturday night looks. Zjelko will get a nose bleed, shifting from #1 to #24 in one fell swoop and now looks a likely contender for the prize, as does Loreen for Sweden. She's on 17, a position which has produced the winner on a fair few occasions.
It all depends on tomorrow's jury dress rehearsal now. That's when half the result of this year's Eurovision Song Contest will be decided. Good luck to The Hump - but I think Stockholm, Belgrade, or any one of a number of Italian cities is now looking likely for 2013.

I agree with your frustrations. The worst singer, the blandest song and the most annoying performer all progress instead of one of the year's freshest? Are people just that shallow that Joan's headdress turned people away?
Jamie - yes, good luck to the Hump. Especially if he sings this version...!

Well, I managed to predict 16 of the 20 which equals my best prediction so far - but this really isn't impressive as about 14 were given dead-certs. I certainly didn't see Kurt from Malta qualifying but am quite pleased he did. Oh yes Jamie, I hate to say, "I told you so" about the dreadful Netherlands song, but....
