Would our friends from Denmark please take the floor?

These two think they're well flash with their stretch limo outside Tivoli Gardens. These two are, in fact, Patrick Spiegelberg and Katja Svensson, the Danish hot-hoofers who will soon be heading off to Glasgow for this year's Eurovision Dance Contest.

And this is another pair (like the Azeris we met last week) who don't seem to be strictly conforming with the ethos of someone who's not especially good at dancing joining forces with someone who is, in the spirit of good fun across the Eurovision network.

Katja is a dancer and Patrick is, hmm... a choreographer.

Boom Bang a Blog can't pretend to be a world authority on modern darn-ce, but surely if you're a choreographer, than you're hardly likely to have crafted a professional career based on the fact you have two left feet. But never mind that for now.

We'll let Patrick off (for now) while we tell you a bit about him. He's 24 years old and - as well as knowing all about dancing (grrrr...), he's also a musician and actor. Patrick has performed with the Royal Danish Opera and is a former winner of Denmark's favourite entertainment show, Popstars. Well done, Patrick.

So, from one dancer to... oh look, another dancer. Katja Svensson, 26, has been dancing since childhood. She must have very tired legs.

Fans of the Danish group Infernal, who took From Paris to Berlin to number two in the UK charts about two years ago, may recognise Katja. She is one of the group's dancers, which she incorporates with a teaching job at a dance school.

The biography for the Danish couple is noticably short when compared to that of the Austrian and Azeri duos, so the only othe rnugget we can offer about them is that Katja and Patrick have known each other "for 10 years" and enjoy a brother/sister relationship.

Going by my own brother/sister relationship, I imagine if they come last then it will all be Patrick's fault and he'll have to rectify his actions by making Katka a cup of tea and going down the shops for 20 Silk Cut. Right now.
